Factura.ai started in 2019 when our founders watched multi-location operators drown in paper, PDFs, and ERP exports. We built the platform we wished existed. One that uses AI to capture, code, and route invoices so finance teams could finally focus on the work that matters.
Today, Factura.ai processes over $1.3B in invoices annually for franchisees, restaurant groups, hotels, accounting firms and more.
Etymology
What is a Factura?
Derived from the Latin factūra — meaning "a making" or "something made" — the word evolved across Europe to describe the document that records a transaction: the invoice. Today it's the word for "invoice" in dozens of languages, and the inspiration for our name.
